Camp Descriptions

MINI CAMP: A half day camp geared toward those participants that are 5 and 6 years old (entering Kindergarten and Grade 1 in the fall) or those 7 year olds not ready for a full day at camp.  They will have one ice time including powerskating, skills and drills, and mini-games.  The afternoon will consist of athletic development, cooperative games, and learning about ringette rules, equipment, and team work.

U9, U10 DAY CAMP: This is a full day camp geared to those athletes who have had a minimum of one year playing ringette. Participants should be ready for a busy day with two ice times. One ice time will focus on power skating, the second ice time will focus on skills with game like situations.  Off ice will consist of athletic development and recreation games focusing on team work. Childcare is available 8am - 4pm.

U12, U14 DAY CAMP PLUS: This camp adds a bonus 3rd ice time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. These athletes need to be ready for hours in the skates! The ice times include powerskating, skills and drills, and the third ice time is a controlled game where athletes will be given constant feedback from the coaches. The off ice sessions will include athletic development and recreation games focusing on team work. Childcare is available 8am - 4pm.

CONDITIONING CAMP: This camp is for those athletes who want to work especially hard and be ready to hit the ice this season at a higher fitness level when evaluations begin. Ice times consist of skating every second day over ten days. The ice times take place during the evening on the weekdays and between 10am and 2pm on the weekend. Bring your water bottle and be ready to skate hard! This camp is for 9 - 18 years old.
